ISO 37001

The long-term commitment of our Company to entrepreneurship with integrity means avoiding corruption in any form, including bribery, and complying with the applicable anti-corruption laws. The Anti-Corruption Policy trains employees and partners and monitors compliance with these standards.

This Policy aims to raise the awareness of all employees and partners of GS RECYCLING S.A. against the phenomenon of bribery and seeks to strengthen the commitment of its Partners to zero tolerance for bribery, creating a framework of obligations and guidelines in order for it to be used as a tool for the prevention, deterrence, and combat of bribery.

In particular, the Anti-Bribery Policy of GS RECYCLING S.A.:

Aims at compliance with the applicable legal and regulatory framework for combating bribery

Seeks the understanding of the definition of bribery and its forms

Seeks the vigilance of employees and every obligated person for detecting actions linked to bribery

Is suitable for the provision of services

Provides the framework for establishing, reviewing, and achieving anti-bribery objectives

Satisfies the requirements of the anti-bribery management system according to the ISO 37001:2017 standard and aims at the continuous improvement of the system

The Policy is binding for everyone without exception — Employees, Members of Management, Business Partners, Financial and Legal Advisors, Suppliers, Subcontractors, and any other third party acting on behalf of the company. During the annual review conducted by Management, compliance with this Policy is verified.

ISO 39001

The operation of GS Recycling regarding Road Safety is governed by the principles outlined in the Road Safety Management System. The System is based on the requirements and specifications established by the international standard ISO 39001:2012 and is fully aligned with the company’s activity and objectives.

GS Recycling’s commitment is to ensure a healthy working environment with the protection of its employees and the interested parties involved in the provision of its services from injuries caused by road incidents, while simultaneously reducing its carbon footprint, considering vehicles, trucks, and construction machinery or other equipment used as an integral part of its working environment.

Our priority is the development of a safe driving culture and the improvement of our employees’ driving behavior through their training in safe driving practices. Our goal is the reduction and elimination of traffic accidents, loss of property, fatal or non-fatal injuries, as well as the substantial contribution to the protection of the Environment. This is achieved through:

The integration of the Company’s strategies, policies, and operational procedures that aim to improve Road Safety.

The periodic review of routes to identify and eliminate significant road safety hazards, while providing the necessary resources and adequate training of employees.

The scheduling of internal audits to evaluate the implementation of Safe Driving Procedures and Instructions.

The application of the principles of Defensive and Ecological Driving, with a corresponding contribution to Environmental Protection, in order to achieve a reduction in fuel consumption and emissions of pollutants and gases that cause the greenhouse effect.

The promotion of best practices and the recommended maintenance of vehicles, trucks, construction machinery (M.E.), and equipment in order to reduce accidents and protect the environment.

The establishment of measurement and evaluation indicators in accordance with the requirements of the Road Safety Management System.

The implementation of inspection and preventive maintenance of vehicles, trucks, and construction machinery (M.E.), with the proper Environmental management of waste resulting from these processes.

The use of fuels, lubricants, and in general all support materials for vehicles, trucks, and construction machinery (M.E.) that are environmentally friendly.

Periodic testing for alcohol or substance use.

Cooperation with interested parties for the exchange of best practices.

The continuous improvement and documentation of the implementation of the Road Safety Management System (R.S.M.S.).

Compliance with all applicable laws and legislative provisions (speed limits, road surface conditions, fog, ice, non-violation of the emergency lane), related to Safe Driving.

The prohibition of mobile phone use during driving and during the use of construction machinery (M.E.) or other equipment.

Verification that investigations are conducted and reports are prepared for all accidents.

This policy has the full support of Senior Management and is applied, observed, and communicated to all employees and interested parties (e.g., suppliers, subcontractors) and is made available to the public.

ISO 14001 45001 9001

The overall operation of GS RECYCLING is governed by the principles set out in the Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment & Occupational Health and Safety. The Integrated System is based on the requirements and specifications defined by the international standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001, and is fully aligned with the activity and objectives of the company.

The company commits:

To observe and comply with the requirements of the Integrated Management System, which is based on the International Standards ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001.

To provide the appropriate resources for the continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System, with the aim of offering quality services and products, improving its Environmental performance, and creating a safe Working Environment.

Through the effective operation of the Integrated Management System, to implement Compliance control with Legislative & Regulatory requirements and to focus on pollution prevention, on reducing the environmental impacts of its activities, and on Occupational Health and Safety (O.H.S.).

To provide safe working conditions with priority given to employee health, with the purpose of preventing occupational accidents and work-related illnesses.

To provide the appropriate resources for the identification, assessment, and minimization of O.H.S. risks associated with the company’s activities.

To promote the participation of the company’s employees in the process of identifying effective methods for recognizing, assessing, and eliminating or limiting to an acceptable level workplace hazards.

The documented investigation of the causes of problems and weaknesses, so that the necessary corrective actions can be defined and implemented with the purpose of preventing their recurrence.

For this purpose, the company has recorded the environmental aspects arising from its activities and has established objectives and targets for those that have been identified as significant.

Ensuring the competence of employees through their continuous training.

The establishment of clear and measurable Quality and Environmental objectives and the evaluation of the company’s performance, with the aim of the continuous improvement of the quality of its services and products, as well as the improvement of its Environmental performance.

The establishment of clear and measurable Occupational Health and Safety objectives for employees, with the purpose of assessing the company’s performance in OHS and improving the Working Environment.

Ensuring the continuous effectiveness and suitability of the Integrated Management System is achieved through procedures and controls of both the production processes and the suppliers and partners.

This Policy has been communicated to all employees and partners and is available to the public. It is reviewed and revised annually during the Management Review.
